How do I book a ride with Joonears?

When will I receive a Joonears ride confirmation? Can I review the Joonears driver's profile before pickup?
After booking a Joonears ride and completing the payment process, you ride will be automatically confirmed. Yes, you can review the Joonears driver’s profile once the driver is assigned to your ride.
How do I rebook a Joonears ride?
You have to visit the Website and request a ride again.
You can also book the recurring rides if you need a repeating ride for your kid.
How do I schedule a recurring Joonears Ride?
You can select the “Recurring Ride” option in the Joonears Ride website, kindly select the option of recurring ride and mention other required information to book the ride.
Will I get the same driver for each ride?
Depending on the availability of the driver we can make this option available for you. We try our best to provide the same driver for a recurring ride.

Can any child take a ride with Joonears?
We serve only children of the age group of 3yrs to 18yrs to take a Joonears ride.
By when do I need to book a Ride?
You need to book a Ride 8:00 PM,a day before the desired day of pick-up.
How many days in advance can I book a Joonears Ride?
You may book a ride 1 month in advance before the schedule you want to book for.
Is there a limitation on the location to which Joonears Ride can give services?
We currently operate in Bangalore and Chennai. You Can book a Ride for traveling anywhere in the city limits.
What is the ride cancellation policy for Joonears?
Zero Cancellation charges will be initiated- If the Ride is canceled before 7 PM the day before the ride is scheduled to commence
50% Cancellation charges (Maximum INR 50) will be initiated- Ride has not started and is being canceled after 7 PM the day before the ride is scheduled to commence
100% Cancellation charges (Maximum INR 50) will be initiated- if Ride is being canceled 2 or less than 2 hours before the ride is scheduled to commence or after the ride has already started (driver is already on the route to the pick-up location).

Our operations team is available from 5 AM to 8 PM even on weekends.
When are the hours for Joonears support?

Will I know who will be picking up my child?
Yes, you’ll get detailed information on the profile of the driver on the Joonears once the driver is allotted for your ride.
How will I know if my child gets in the right Joonears car?
You’ll get an update on the email once the ride will get started.
How will my child identify Joonears Cab?
Joonears drivers are always in their uniforms.
How will I know when my child has been picked up or dropped off?
You’ll get an update on Joonears app during both the pickup and drop off of your child.
Can I request the driver sign my child in or out of school or a faculty?
We will have one of our team members accompanying your child till school or handover to the faculty if required.
What if I want to check the video while my kid was traveling in the vehicle?
You can check the video of the entire ride after the ride is over.
What if my kid wants to talk to me if any urgency occurs during a ride?
All our vehicle has panic buttons installed in it which notifies us during any such urgency and even our drivers can help you get connected with your child.
How would I know that the vehicle in which my kid is present is going off-track?
All our vehicles are Geo- Fenced which will notify us in case of violation of pre-marked territory to drive.
What should I do if I want to stop a car due to safety purposes immediately?
If you suspect any emergency with your kid you can raise an alarm on the App and our surveillance team will cross-check immediately and immobilize the car if required

Pricing
How much will my ride cost with Joonears?
Joonears charges Rs 23/Km on point to point basis for every rider. For the first 2 Kms we charge Rs. 50. We also keep providing offers for our recurring rides which you can see in our app/website and our social handles
When will I have to pay for my Joonears ride?
All rides are prepaid, you will have to make the payment before 8 P.M one day before the ride. For all ride (single or recurring) payment process needs to be completed for confirming the booking.
How can I pay for my rides?
You can pay through UPI/debit card/credit card/net banking & all the premier wallets available.
What additional charges might be applied to my trip?
There is no waiting charge in Joonears. But the cab may leave the location if delay is more than 5 mins and noticed to be regular to maintain the punctuality of other upcoming rides.
